Domino’s Celebrates 65th Birthday with Free Chocolate Lava Cakes

Pizza lovers have a sweet reason to celebrate this month. Domino’s is marking its 65th anniversary by giving away one of its most beloved menu items for free. The pizza giant, which was founded on December 9, 1960, has announced a nationwide promotion offering free Chocolate Lava Crunch Cakes to customers.

How to Redeem the Offer

From December 8 through December 22, 2025, customers can receive a free order of the molten chocolate desserts. To qualify, you must place an online order of $10 or more via the Domino’s website or mobile app. At checkout, simply enter the promo code HAPPYBDAY to add the sweet treat to your cart at no extra cost.

“There would be no Domino’s without its loyal customers,” said Joe Jordan, Domino’s President of U.S. operations, in a statement regarding the milestone. The Chocolate Lava Crunch Cakes, known for their warm, fudge-filled centers and powdered sugar topping, are a fan favorite and a fitting way to commemorate six and a half decades of service.
